Wolstanton Gets Walking
Raising Money For Local Hospice
Wolstanton colleagues have recently braved the cold weather in order to raise funds for local charity – Douglas Macmillan Hospice, known as Dougie Mac. Never ones to do things by halves, the team donned Christmas themed costumes and took to the streets. They walked from their funeral home in Wolstanton, through Newcastle under Lyme town centre, and all the way to the Hospice in Blurton – a distance of just under 10 miles.
Dougie Mac is an amazing charity that has helped each of our colleagues in heart breaking times, and so they were pleased to be able to give something back to them. Donations are still coming in, but the team have raised over £800.
Well done team.
