Our Withington funeral home helping sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis
The team donated £140 to a supporting event
Last October, the team from our Withington funeral home in Manchester had the pleasure of meeting two lovely sisters Jane Foxcroft and Elesha English, who were arranging the funeral of their mother.
Jane, and her friend Andy Downs, both suffer from the condition Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and after staying in touch, our colleagues from Withington learnt that Jane, Elesha and Andy were organising an event in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
More than happy to lend a helping hand, the team generously donated £140 towards their event which managed to pay for a DJ and a selection of tombola prizes.
The event was a great success with everybody commenting on how much fun they had!
Along with the DJ entertainment there was also a karaoke for the devoted (and not so devoted!) singers, some great prizes on offer including a signed Manchester City football shirt, pamper days, hairdressing appointments and hampers, and to top it all off hungry tummies were fed with homemade hot pot, pie and other delights.
Altogether £814 was raised for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, which will go towards care, guidance and support for those who are suffering.
Well done to our colleagues from Withington for their donation and support, and to the organisers Jane, Elesha and Andy!
