Our most successful county show year to date

we attended 13 shows in total

Summer is over (boo hoo!), which also means our county show season has drawn to a close for 2016.

If you didn’t see us at our county shows this year, you missed out!

We attended a record number of 13 shows and reached over 1 million people in the process.

Our local teams were on hand talking about the benefits of planning ahead, we displayed some of our beautiful hearses, coffins and other products and services, and of course we showed off our new-look Co-op and raised money for our British Red Cross Charity Partnership.

We gained some huge achievements this year, and ended our time feeling extremely proud.

It was our first year at the Great Yorkshire Show and after a visitor vote we won a trade stand merit award, and we had royal visitor Countess Sophie Wessex to our stand at the New Forest Show.

We also had our very own film crew, capturing visitors in the style of ‘Mr and Mrs’, as part of our #FuneralMusic campaign.

Take a look here at Ben and Sally's video and the rest of the double acts who got involved.

We’ve had so much fun, and more importantly a lot of meaningful conversations along the way. We’re already counting down to 2017, where we can do it all over again.

Thank you to all the visitors who came along to see us, colleagues who supported our events and to Karen Taylor, our Events Co-ordinator, who seamlessly planned and delivered everything to make it a hugely enjoyable few months.
