Our Garston team walking to save lives
they managed to raise over £300
Our colleagues, Bette-Jo, Sylvia, Irene and Margaret from our Garston funeral home in Liverpool, decided to take part in a sponsored walk along Liverpool waterfront to raise funds for the New Liverpool Royal Hospital Appeal.
The appeal is working towards buying new high-tech machines that detect cancer at a very early stage. Each of the ladies has undergone treatment at the hospital, or know somebody close to them who has, so being able to contribute to potential life-saving equipment was massively important to them. The new equipment, along with other specialist technology, will make this hospital one of the leading in the country.
Their walk raised an impressive £300 which the hospital were really grateful in receiving.
Good work ladies, we’re very impressed.
