Marking the Queen's 90th birthday
our colleagues celebrated the exciting occasion
Last Thursday marked a very special occasion - the Queen's 90th birthday of course!
Patriotic supporters across the country celebrated, including ourselves, as we seized the opportunity to toast our Ma'am's special day.
Take a look below at some of the activities that our colleagues so wonderfully organised:
Colleagues from our 5 Lane Ends funeral home in Bradford visited their local care home - Elm Tree Court, and provided cakes and buns to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
The local church rang their bells for 3 hours, the sun was shining and everybody had a lovely afternoon. One resident even told the team how she'd met the Queen when she presented her with her medals after the Battle of Dunkirk.
Colleagues from our Broken Cross funeral home in Cheshire regalarly update their window display based on events and celebrations that are happening, and this is their fantastic effort for the Queen's birthday in true British fashion.
The display got all the locals talking and they can't wait to see what the team have planned next.
Colleagues from our Hebburn funeral home in Tyne and Wear supplied cream tea to the residents of their local care home - Hawthorn Court, to mark the Queen's big day. They had a fantastic day and swapped lots of stories over a cup of tea and cake.
Our Selsdon funeral home in Surrey put on an impressive window display filled with Union Jack flags and a big picture of the birthday girl herself.
Well done to everybody!
