Keeping the Momentum up with a charity gala ball

our Kingston funeral home supported the event

Our team from Kingston in Surrey are no strangers to helping local families during their time of need, and they've recently extended their warm hearts to even more local people.

'Momentum' are an inspirational local charity who support the families of children suffering with cancer and other life-limiting conditions.

When our Kingston team heard about their upcoming charity night to raise some much needed cash, they were desperate to be a part of it.

The charity wanted the evening to be as fun and imaginative as possible and so set their sights on a 'Come Fly With Me' gala dinner theme - encouraging attendees to think all things aeroplane for the evening by dressing up as a pilot or cabin crew (some of the Momentum team are pictured below).

There was a charity raffle that the team wanted something extra special to contribute to, and so donated their ceramic commemorative poppy from the 2014 Tower of London installation.

It raised a massive £510 for Momentum in the auction - which in total overall raised over £35,000!

This money will be used to improve the lives of children and families going through really tough times, which is a life-changing amount of money for such a deserving cause.
