Crawcrook's personal Memorial Service
fulfilling a client's wish 1 year after her husband's death
It's never easy when the anniversary of a loved one's death is approaching, and it's important to us that we're there to support our clients each and every step of the way - not just when funeral arrangements are being made.
One person who knows this more than anyone is Jayshree (pictured right) - a lady who first came into contact with our wonderful Crawcrook colleagues Angela (pictured left) and Claire, after she lost her husband last year.
They immediately struck up a friendship and 1 year on they were keen to help her remember her beloved husband on the anniversary of his death.
Jayshree's wish was to place a planter in the garden of their funeral home for her to remember him by and for her to visit - and her wish was their humble command!
Not only did the pair arrange for a small plaque to be made with her husband's name on it to place in the planter, they actually carried out a personal Memorial Service where a candle was lit, a prayer was said and a poem was read out.
This meant the world to Jayshree and it was the perfect way to commemorate her lost loved one.
A simple gesture goes such a long way, especially during times of sadness...and this was most definitely the case here.
Well done Angela and Claire!
