An adorable thank you letter

little Oliver sent the letter following a Career's Fair

Some envisage Funeralcare colleagues to be a certain kind of somebody. Sombre? Serious?

But the truth is, each of every one of us in our Funeralcare family is diverse and unique!

From the younger to the older generation and everywhere in between, and from “mad as a box of frogs”, through to the sweet and timid – if you have the qualities we’re looking for, we want you.

We’re all proud to Be Co-op, and we’re even prouder to be able to help local families make the final day for their loved one count. We have one chance to get it right.

Karen and Phil from our Washington funeral home in Tyne and Wear, recently took part in their local primary school’s Career’s Fair, to talk all things Funeralcare and open up the minds of the children to a role they probably don’t know very much about.

It went brilliantly and one little boy, Oliver, even wrote a heartfelt letter to thank Karen and Phil (pictured).

We think this is adorable, and are over the moon that our colleagues are encouraging and educating children in the community – and clearly leaving a very positive impression!
