A special funeral for an established Riley car member

Gary frrom Stanley made sure the day was perfect

We really mean it when we say we’ll do everything in our power to accommodate individual funeral wishes.

Very little is too difficult for us to fulfill, and we truly respect individuality - in fact, we encourage it!

We recently heard from Gary Platten at our Stanley funeral home, and were touched to hear about the intricate detail that went into arranging a very special funeral for a client.

A gentleman in his care had been a classic car fanatic, was a proud owner of a vintage Riley car – and was an established member of the Riley car club.

The gentleman’s family wanted his passion to be showcased, and Gary was only too obliged to make this happen.

He organised for a local printer to make some Riley stickers to decorate his coffin, and after speaking to his loved ones – arranged for the funeral procession to take a unique route.

A route which he had loved.

The family were moved by Gary’s thoughtfulness, and appreciated knowing their loved one was in safe hands and getting the special, unique care that he deserved.

Thank you Gary, you are wonderful.
