A mud kitchen for local nursery children

our Gwersyllt funeral home donated 'kitchen goodies'

As far as kid's mottos go, the messier the better! So when colleagues from our Gwersyllt funeral home heard that their local nursery children wanted to get domestic in their mess with a 'mud kitchen' they couldn't resist helping.

The idea of the mud kitchen is to help the children explore the great outdoors more and the initiative has inspired our funeral home colleagues to donate a blackboard that the children can use as a menu for their mud kitchen visitors, some big pencils to encourage writing, and some metal buckets to carry the mud food in.

Funeral Arranger, Angela Walsh has a little boy who attends the nursery (pictured right, with one of his fellow chefs) so can keep up to date with all the fun and games from their kitchen activities.

What a fantastic idea to contribute to local youngster's development, well done to the team.

We'll have a mud burger and fries please...!
